Oil Cooler

The oil cooler is located behind the driver's side intercooler.  This location is less than ideal.  The Alamo intercooler kit includes relocation mounts for the oil cooler to the front of the car.  The mounting location is preferable and could easily be fabricated.  When choosing an oil cooler be sure not to fall into the bigger-is-better trap.  You do not want the oil to be too cool.  You also need to ensure that adequate oil pressure is maintained.  Taxing the stock oil pump will reduce its ability to deliver adequate pressure and volume to the engine.
